Join a tour through cutting-edge research labs, hands-on makerspaces, iconic campus landmarks, and student-led projects that offer a deeper understanding of MIT’s culture of curiosity, creativity, and discovery.

Details and Guidelines

Tour Center sign-ups

• Friday, October 23, 10:00–11:00 a.m.
• Saturday, October 24, 9:00–10:00 a.m.

• Tours must be reserved in-person at the Tour Center; prompt arrival is highly recommended. 
• You may only sign up for one tour per day at the Tour Center. Families interested in a second tour can join a standby line. 
• A Family Weekend name badge is required to sign up for a tour.  
• Tour sign-ups will open on the morning of the tour. (You must sign up for Friday tours on Friday and Saturday tours on Saturday.) 
• All tours depart from the Tour Center.  
• Sign-up and standby lines are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.  
• Please arrive at the Tour Center 10 minutes prior to the departure time listed on your tour ticket. If you do not arrive prior to the departure time, you will lose your spot on the tour.
